About the program

IDDEAS @ Stanford is a virtual two-day immersion program on October 14-15, 2021 for undergraduate students from diverse backgrounds interested in research and academia.

This program seeks to attract a diverse group of promising undergraduate students and introduce them to business research at the doctoral level. The goal of this program is to support and encourage student and faculty diversity. Participants will have the opportunity to:

1. Learn about doctoral-level research.
2. Gain advice about graduate school opportunities and insights on the application process.
3. Discuss academic careers in research and teaching.

Ideal candidates for IDDEAS Scholars are current college sophomores, juniors, or seniors with strong quantitative skills and academic records. Candidates must provide a strong academic recommendation from an advisor or faculty member knowledgeable about their experience or interest in research and/or teaching.

There is no cost to apply to or attend the IDDEAS program. The initial application review deadline for IDDEAS @ Stanford is August 30, 2021 at 5:00 PM PST. We will accept applications on a rolling basis through September 19, 2021 at 11:59 PM PST.
