Are you considering PhD training and an academic career?

IDDEAS@MITSloan (Introduction to Diversity in Doctoral Education and Scholarship) is a two-day immersion program being held virtually July 22-23, 2021, aimed at introducing a diverse group of outstanding undergraduates to the field of business research and academia.

IDDEAS@MITSloan will give participants an opportunity to experience what it means to be a PhD student and to enter a career as an academic researcher. IDDEAS@MITSloan participants will take part in doctoral-level research exercises, take mini-master classes with MIT Sloan faculty, hear from MIT Sloan doctoral students, and much more. The program is designed for undergraduate students who demonstrate a strong interest in math, statistics, economics, psychology/sociology, and/or engineering-related disciplines and want to know more about PhD research degrees in business. We encourage all interested students to apply.

To enrich the field of business academia and research, the IDDEAS@MITSloan program invites applicants from all academic and personal backgrounds. Attendance is free of charge.

IDDEAS Scholars from programs held at Wharton, Stanford, Berkeley, Booth and Kellogg have gone on to enter top business doctoral programs including Emory University, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Duke University, INSEAD, University of Indiana and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
